Derek Lloyd and Mike Westman (top) signal orders to raise the bucket on Sidney Fire Department's Ladder 51, Rob Roderick, positioned on the ground, relayed instructions to James Harmon, who was operating the ladder from the truck's base, according to Tom Von Seggern, Sidney Park superintendent. The crew was brought in to replace a snapped cable on the Hickory Square flag pole, which snapped because of high winds.
