The National Association for Family and Community Education's Nebraska West District convened for its annual meeting Tuesday at the Cheyenne County Visitors Center in Sidney. The meeting included a special presentation from Brian Eads, investigator with the Nebraska State Patrol's WING Drug Task Force, concerning human trafficking.
In his presentation, Eads said human trafficking was the third largest criminal enterprise in the world, and the second largest, as well as the fastest growing, criminal enterprise in the United States.
