Serving proudly since 1873 as the beautiful Nebraska Panhandle's first newspaper

Sun-Telegraph updates its appearance

After years of Old English Times Roman type it was time to update the Sun-Telegraph appearance. As a newspaper, Sun-Telegraph must be relevant to our readers, our advertisers and engage the generations of the 21st century.

As a member of the Stevenson Newspaper Group, the Sidney Sun-Telegraph incorporated the community’s identity with its largest employer – Cabela’s, with a photo rendering of the company’s bronze elk and its water tower slogan identifying Sidney as its World Headquarters.

The size of our type has been enlarged a bit to make reading easier.

“Our goal in making these changes is to send a direct message to our readers and members of the community that we are proud to be a part of this panhandle community,” said Sun-Telegraph Publisher Keith Hansen.

Sun-Telegraph will continue to strive for excellence in our digital and print products.
