Court Briefs 04-11-16

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on April 6, 2016 before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Christina Tucker, 19 of Lodgepole, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Distribution of MJ and Attempted Distribution of MJ. A class III and IV felony respectively. She pled not guilty and requested an attorney. Status hearing continued to May 10.

Tyson Bockhahn, 24 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Possession of Meth. A class IV felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pled no contest to an amended charge of Attempted possession of meth. A class I misdemeanor. PSI ordered. Sentencing scheduled for May 10.

Kenneth Steffens, 42 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Failing to Register pursuant to the Sex Offender Registration Act. A class IIIA felony. Status hearing set for May 10.

Latifa Steinman, 21 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Poss of Hash. A class IV felony. Status hearing set for May 10.

Gary Vannater, 25 of Sidney, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Distribution of Marijuana. A class III felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled to an amended charge of Attempted Distribution of Marijuana. A class IIIA felony. PSI ordered. Sentencing set for May 10, at 10 a.m.
