Serving proudly since 1873 as the beautiful Nebraska Panhandle's first newspaper
Tri-State G & T in partnership with the NEED Project (The National Energy Education Development Project) is hosting an Energy Conference in July.
Teachers throughout the area of Tri-State’s member systems are strongly encouraged to attend. Wheat Belt is proud to be a part of this project. The conference will be held July 28-29 in Denver.
The rural electric industry believes so strongly in this project that they are extending an invitation to area teachers as an expense-paid conference. Mileage, lodging and meals during the conference will be reimbursed. Tri-State does encourage car-pooling if possible.
As indicated in the brochure that has been distributed to area teachers, Tri-State and NEED are working together to secure graduate credit for the program. Applications are available on-line at Tri-State G & T or at the Wheat Belt office.
