Everett Parsons, 73 of Sidney, died Tuesday morning, March 22, 2016 at his home in Sidney.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2016, in the Holechek Funeral Home in Sidney with Pastor Leonard Suhr of the Church of the Nazarene officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation of follow.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday.

Everett Ray Parsons, the son of Robert and Alice (Vinson) Parsons was born November 13, 1942 at Enid Oklahoma. He grew up in Enid before the family moved to Westminster, Colorado where he graduated from Westminster High School in 1960.
On April 25, 1964 he was united in marriage to Roberta Rothfuss in Denver. He served as a Westminster police officer from 1969 to 1984. He and Roberta moved to Sidney in 2000, where he worked at Cabela's.
Everett enjoyed baseball, serving as both a coach and umpire while his boys were growing up. He liked reading western history books and western movies.
He is survived by his wife Roberta Parsons of Sidney; two sons: Jeff Parsons of Lodgepole and Kevin Parsons of Brighton, Colo .; two grandchildren Evan and Taylor Parsons and one nephew Scott Mellinger of Denver.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Sidney is serving the Parsons family.
