The Elks Lenten Fish Fry will be held every Friday between Feb. 19 through March 25, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., located at 1040 Jackson St. in Sidney.

HOLY WEEK

Christ Episcopal Church of Sidney is holding services during Easter week on Monday and Thursday at 6 p.m.; Good Friday Service at 6 p.m. and Easter Sunday at 10 a.m.. All are welcome!

Maundy Service at First Christian Church will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Sunrise Easter service 7 a.m. Potluck breakfast to follow. Regular Sunday morning service at 10:30 a.m.

Community Good Friday worship service will be held on Friday, March 25, at noon, at Christ Episcopal Church, 1205 10th Ave.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

Good Friday worship service will be held on Friday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m., 2305 San Marino Rd.

6:30 a.m. Sunrise Worship Service led by FUSION Youth Group, will be held on Sunday, March 27, at Lodgepole Valley Youth Camp.

The Evangelical Free Church of Sidney invites you to join us during Easter Week for our special services. There will be a Good Friday Service on March 25, at 7 p.m., which will include the Lord’s Supper. Easter Sunday services on March 27, are at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Our Easter Sunday celebrations will include congregation singing with our worship team, special music and video presentations, and the message of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The church is located at 2763 11th Avenue.

Easter services will be held on Easter Sunday, March 27, at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., 2305 San Marino.

The 2016 Dr. Jeff Cook’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 with a 10 a.m. Fire Whistle Start. The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 301 will hold a Community Pie Social on Saturday, March 26, at the Legion Hall in Dalton at 1 p.m. after the Community Easter Egg Hunt in the park. With a large variety of pies you will be sure to find your favorite, if you like ice cream you are in luck, the ladies are also offering pie a la mode!

Light Memorial Presbyterian Church is having its annual Spring Rummage and Bake Sale on Saturday, April 9 from 9 to 2 p.m., at the Church, 14th and Linden Streets, in Sidney. Please use the west door on 14th Street.

WNCC’s Veterans Upward Bound Program will host a Veterans Stand Down event on Tuesday, April 12. Services provided include food, clothing, free haircuts, health screenings, employment, and housing referrals to name a few! Veterans Stand Down will begin at 10 a.m. in the Harms Advanced Technology Center located at 2620 College Park in Scottsbluff, NE. The event will conclude at 2 p.m., all veterans are welcome.

Wednesday, April 13

Cultural Expressions Event, a free community gathering, will be held on Wednesday, April 13, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Sidney High School in the Performing Arts Center. Join SHS students & staff for the presentation of the award-winning “Orgullo” mural and first-place “Breaking Stereotypes” skit and three poems will be presented by SHS students as well. Special guest performances will include speeches, drums, and Aztec dances by Metro State University

graduate students. The event is free to the community and is appropriate for people of all ages.
