Potter-Dix Jr./Sr. High School placed first in team total points and had several students qualify for the state speech contest at the D2-6 district meet held in Potter last week. State qualifiers were sophomore Audrey Juelfs (1st place in Oral Interpretation of Poetry and Duet Acting) with freshman Brooke Moench (1st place in Duet Acting and 3rd place in Oral Interpretation of Poetry), junior Levi Kasten (1st place in Entertainment Speaking), junior John Herboldsheimer (2nd place in Humorous Interpretation of Prose Literature), junior Alana Thies (2nd place in Serious Interpretation of Prose Literature), junior Dawson Sharman (3rd place in Serious Interpretation of Prose Literature), senior Regyn Hicks (2nd place in Persuasive Speaking), freshman Sierra Wheelock (3rd place in Entertainment Speaking), and seniors Keverett Rusk and Justice Palmer (2nd place in Duet Acting).
