The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on March 15 before the Honorable Randin Roland:
Brandee Maxson, 30, of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of theft, which is a Class IIA felony. A preliminary hearing has been set for 10:30 a.m. on March 29.
Kandy Cook, 38, of Potter, appeared for arraignment on a charge of child abuse, which is a Class I misdemeanor. She requested an attorney and a status hearing is set for 9 a.m. on April 11.
Latifa Steinman, 21, of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of possesion of hash, which is a Class IV felony. A preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. on March 21.
Barbra Soucie, 44, of Lodgepole, appeared for sentencing on a charge of driving on a suspended license, which is a Class III misdemeanor. She received a $100 fine.
Kenneth Steffens, 42, of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of failing to register pursuant to the Sex Offender Registration Act, which is a Class IIIA felony. A preliminary hearing is set for 11 a.m. on March 21.
Brittney Agena, 24, of Scottsbluff appeared for presentment on a charge of possession of hash, which is a Class IV felony. A preliminary hearing is set for 10:30 a.m. on March 21.
Frank Chorak, 35, of Denver, Colo., appeared for a preliminary hearing on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, which is a Class IV felony. The case was bound over to District Court later on March 15.
