The Elks Lenten Fish Fry will be held every Friday between Feb. 19 through March 25, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., located at 1040 Jackson St. in Sidney.

A memorial account has been set up at American National Bank (Main Bank and Drive up locations) for Tabitha Davis. Donations can be made to: “Tabitha Davis Memorial Fund” to help defray expenses and to benefit twin daughters “Emmersynne Joy & Ellyeaunnah Grace”.

Table of Grace, a ministry of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, is a mobile food pantry that distributes food at various locations throughout the area on monthly basis.

9 a.m. at Prairie West Christian Church in Potter

4th Saturday of the month

9 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Oshkosh

Math Night will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 29 at the South Elementary.

Registration for kindergarten students attending Sidney Public Schools for the 2016-2017 school year will be held every day from March 14-18 at Central Elementary, 1114 16th Avenue, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parents may contact Central Elementary, (308) 254-3642, if they have any questions regarding requirements.

Friday, Feb. 26

Pairs-N-Half-A-Pair Square Dance Club will have a Regular Dance at the IOOF Hall in Gering from 7 to 9 p.m. with Lucky calling. We will have PLUS dancing from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 28

Pairs-N-Half-A-Pair Square Dance Club will have a dance in Kimball at the old 4-H building on the fairgrounds with Roger Schappell calling. Dance from 4 to 6 p.m. Pot luck dinner following the dance.

Tuesday, March 1

A Parkinson’s support group for the Western Nebraska area meets on the first Tuesday of each month, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 312 W. 16th St., Alliance. Call Dee Brauninger at (308) 763-1254 with questions or email her at [email protected].

The Jr. Friends of the Library will be meeting Tuesday, March 1 at the Sidney Public Library beginning at 5 p.m. This group welcomes youth 7-12 graders with an emphasis on community service. For more information, please call the library at (308) 254-3110 or stop by for a visit during our meeting.

Wednesday, March 2

Severe Weather Spotter Training will be presented by the Cheyenne National Weather Service at 7 p.m. at Sidney High School. Come learn more about Severe Weather topics! All are welcome to attend and there is no fee to attend. For more information, call Region 21 EMA at (308) 254-7003.

Saturday, March 5

On Saturday, March 5, at 10 a.m., the Cheyenne County Democrats will meet at the Cheyenne County Community Center for Caucus.

Cancer survivor support group meets every SECOND Thursday, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Dorwart Cancer Care Center. Great topics/food/fellowship. Call Leslie at (308) 250-1113 with questions.
