Wind speeds reached up to 66 miles per hour last Thursday in Sidney and more than 90 miles per hour in the region, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
The top wind speed in Sidney from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. last Thursday was reported at 66 miles per hour at the Sidney Airport. The winds were still high overnight and were reported at 55 miles per hour at midnight.
The highest winds were reported in Sinclair, Wyo., at 91 miles per hour. They were reported as high as 78 miles per hour in Scottsbluff and 67 miles per hour in Cheyenne, Wyo....
