The Creek Valley boys and girls each picked up wins over South Platte last Friday.
Leyton dropped a pair of games to visiting Sedgwick County, Colo., while the Peetz girls fell to Caliche.
Boys basketball
Creek Valley 61, South Platte 41
Creek Valley jumped out to the early lead and went on to top South Platte, 61-41, on Friday.
The Storm (11-9) went up 11-2 in the first quarter and held a 34-12 lead at halftime.
Brett Godfrey led the Storm offensively with 20 points. Michael Smith and Keith Everitt added 10 points each, while Everitt also added 10 rebounds to earn a double-double.
Godfrey led the team with six assists, while Gage Koenen led the way with four steals.
Creek Valley wraps up regular season play Friday with a home game against Wallace.
Sedgwick County 60, Leyton 39
Visiting Sedgwick County (Colo.) took the early lead in a 60-39 win on Friday against Leyton.
The Warriors (9-7) fell behind early against the unbeaten Sedgwick (17-0), trailing 15-9 at the end of the first quarter and 34-20 at halftime.
Zach Hellie poured in 26 points on nine of 15 shooting from the floor to lead the Warriors offensively, and also grabbed 11 rebounds to pick up a double-double.
Leyton wraps up regular season play Friday at Garden County.
Girls basketball
Creek Valley 51, South Platte 49
Creek Valley held off a fourth quarter South Platte rally to win its regular season finale on Friday by a 51-49 score.
The Storm (12-8) held a 35-30 lead going into the fourth quarter when South Platte outscored the home team by a 19-16 clip.
Three Creek Valley players had double digit scoring on Friday, led by Jessie Straber with 14 points. Payje Misegadis had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Samantha Schmid added 10 points in the win.
Joey Straber led the team with seven assists, while Jessie Straber had a team-high seven steals.
Creek Valley opens the D1-12 subdistrict Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Bridgeport with a contest against Dundy County-Stratton.
Sedgwick County 44, Leyton 39
Leyton's comeback fell just short as the Lady Warriors fell 44-39 to Sedgwick County on Friday.
The Lady Warriors (11-8) outscored the visiting team 20-11 in the fourth quarter, but their rally fell just short.
Diedra Waite led the team with a double-double, scoring 16 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Katie Higgins added nine points offensively, while Natalie Cruise and Taylor Berner grabbed eight rebounds each.
Leyton faces Morrill to open the D1-12 subdistrict playoffs at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bridgeport.
Caliche 39, Peetz 32
Peetz dropped a 39-32 game to Caliche on Friday.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to 4-14 with the loss, while Caliche improved to 4-13 with the win.
Statistics were not available at press time.
Peetz is back in action Friday at Fleming.
