Vach honored at wrestling meet

Steven Vach was presented with a plaque at Sunday's 'Sidney Smackdown' at the Sidney High school gymnasium for his dedication to the Federation wrestling program.

Jordan Burroughs, Olympic gold medalist and former University of Nebraska wrestler, was on site to give the presentation as Vach was honored for his 14 years of volunteering with the Sidney Federation wrestling.

Vach was unaware that he was being presented with this honor and that Burroughs was here to be the presenter.

"One word comes to mind," Burroughs said as he presented the plaque to Vach. "Redemption."
