Twelve local students were among the nearly 4,500 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students who have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2015-16 academic year.
Qualification for the dean’s list varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. All qualifying grade-point averages are based on a four-point scale and a minimum of 12 or more graded semester hours. Students can be on the dean’s list for more than one college.
The following area students were named to the dean’s list list of distinguished students:
• Tessa Lukesh of Gurley, a junior and English major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
• Rebekah Joyce Hutchinson of Potter, a freshman and pre-speech-language pathology in the College of Education and Human Sciences.
• Kenna Macrae Smith of Potter, a junior theatre major in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts.
• Jessica Ellen Glanz of Sidney, a senior elementary education major in the College of Education and Human Sciences.
• LaNaya Marie Gutierrez of Sidney, a sophomore hospitality, restaurant and tourism management major in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resource.
• Taylor Thomas Kaus of Sidney, a junior agricultural economics major in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
• Jordan Briann Kennedy of Sidney, a junior elementary education major in the College of Education and Human Sciences.
• Hayden Thomas Lienemann of Sidney, a freshman accounting major in the College of Business Administration.
• Madeline Sommer Moeller of Sidney, a senior philosophy major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
• Andrew Myers of Sidney, a freshman, mechanical engineering major in the College of Engineering.
• Calder James Rosdail of Sidney, a sophomore finance major in the College of Business Administration.
• McKenzie Lane Rosdail of Sidney, a junior speech-language pathologist major in the College of Education and Human Sciences.
