After an Annalise Lecher free throw put Sidney up 47-45 with 1.7 seconds left, Jori Peters' long trey was off the mark and the Lady Raiders held on for the win.

Sidney opened the third quarter on a 10-0 run as it looked to solidify its lead, ending on a pair of Katelyn Sylvester free throws for a 25-14 advantage with 3:27 left in the quarter. Mitchell rebounded, however, and cut the Sidney lead to 29-27 heading into the final quarter.
