Ed Sadler named Sidney city manager

The City of Sidney named Ed Sadler as its new city manager on Wednesday morning.

Sadler was chosen from three finalists for the position. He is currently the city manager of Webster City, Iowa.

In a phone interview Wednesday morning, Sadler said he is excited about the new position.

"The projects the city is working on and the growth in Cabela's new offices, the new hotels and businesses is a wonderful opportunity," Sadler said.

He also mentioned that the position will get him a lot closer to "some very cute grandchildren." Sadler's three grown children and four grandchildren live in Colorado...
