Serving proudly since 1873 as the beautiful Nebraska Panhandle's first newspaper
Nebraska's 150th anniversary is just a year away, and a trio of groups is working to celebrate the hallmark with a display of photographs from throughout the state.
"Do you have original photos of well-known historic places or hidden treasures from across Nebraska? Would you like to have your county take part in the state's 150th birthday celebration in 2017?" a press release announcing the call for photos states. "If so, you're in luck."
