The Jr. Friends of the Library will be meeting Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Sidney Public Library. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. and welcomes youth 6th through 12th grade. Thursday, Jan. 21

Cheyenne County Genealogical Society will meet at the Sidney Public Library on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m. in the Virginia Smith Room. Visitors are always welcome.

Friday, Jan. 22

Peetz schools will hold the 4th through 8th grade local spelling bee on Friday, Jan. 22, at 9 a.m., in the Peetz School Gym.

Monday, Jan. 25

High Plains Arts Council Missoula Children’s Theatre Auditions for Sleeping Beauty will be held at 3:35 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 25, at the Sidney High School Performing Arts Center for all children Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Saturday, Jan. 30

Christ Episcopal Church is holding their annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Feed, Tuesday, February 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. All you can eat.

Sunday, Feb. 14

The annual “Be-My-Valentine” dinner will be held on Sunday, Feb. 14, at the First United Methodist Church in Sidney, in the fellowship hall. There will be two seating times - 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The dinners are open to the public.
