Creek Valley 44, Paxton 25
Creek Valley took the early lead and built on it in a 44-25 win at Paxton Thursday night.
The Storm (7-5) went up 12-7 in the first quarter and built a 21-11 halftime advantage. They outscored Paxton 23-14 in the second half.
Payje Misegadis led the team with a double-double, scoring 11 points and pulling down 14 rebounds.
Samantha Schmid led the Storm offensively with 13 points, while Jessie Straber added nine points.
Creek Valley returns to action Tuesday with a 6:30 p.m. home contest against Garden County in the first round of the Minuteman Activities Conference Tournament.

Paxton 74, Creek Valley 38
Creek Valley fell behind early Thursday night in a 74-38 road loss at Paxton.
The Storm (6-6) fell behind 18-8 in the first quarter and trailed 39-21 at halftime.
Brett Godfrey led the Storm offensively with 16 points, while Keith Everitt added eight points and a team-high eight rebounds.
Creek Valley returns to action Monday when it hosts Banner County at 6:30 p.m. in the first round of the MAC tournament.
