Beverly M. Christofferson, 79 of Sidney, passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 7, at the Sidney Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 11, in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Hall officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Cremation has been held. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel to drop off condolences for the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Bev's name to High Plains PAWS or the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Beverly M. Christofferson, the daughter of Arnold Bruce and Ruth Inez (Parady) Christofferson, was born on May 7, 1936 at Dalton. When Bev was young the family moved south of Bushnell where she began school. When she was in the tenth grade they moved west of Dalton. Bev graduated from Gurley High School in 1953. She was united in marriage to Bob Kinnersley for several years, worked as a waitress at Dude's and then was employed at Cabela's Distribution Center for twenty-three years. Bev loved her pets, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include nephews and nieces: Eric (Gayla) Christofferson of Sidney, Sandi (Dave) Meyer of Urbandale, IA, Brian Christofferson of Gering, Chris (Michelle) Christofferson of Sidney, Stephanie (Ron) Nelson of Wheatland, Wyo., Bitsie (Tim) Herrera of Sidney and Brandee (Ron) Williams of Lincoln; brother: Bruce (Barb) Christofferson of Cheyenne, Wyo .; (19) great-nieces and nephews and many cousins and close friends.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew: David Christofferson.
