Serving proudly since 1873 as the beautiful Nebraska Panhandle's first newspaper
The Western Nebraska Community College financial aid staff is hosting several student and parent nights throughout the panhandle in January and February to share important information and answer any questions. “Financial Aid 101” is open and free to anyone planning to attend any college.
The session set for Sidney will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 10 on the WNCC Sidney campus.
WNCC’s financial aid presentation includes information on FAFSA forms, scholarships, PELL grants and student loans. There are door prizes at each location, including scholarships to WNCC.
“These informative sessions are not just for WNCC students,” said WNCC Financial Aid Director Sheila Johns. “We encourage students interested in attending any college to attend one of our presentations.”
