Court Briefs 12-17-15

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, Dec. 14, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Joshua Manchester, 34, of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a two-count charge of failure to abide by the Sex Offender Registration Act, which are both Class IV felonies. A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Dec. 29.

Justina Stevens, 18, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of procuring alcohol for a minor, which is a Class I misdemeanor.  She pleaded not guilty. A pre-trial conference is set for Jan. 11, 2016.

Wyatt Coleman, 29, formerly of Sidney, appeared for a pre-trial conference on charges of obstruction and resisting arrest, which are both Class I misdemeanors. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded to obstruction, a Class I misdemeanor, and received 90 days in jail.
