Community celebrates during Christmas at Concordia weekend events

SEWARD - Two students with local ties participated in Christmas at Concordia weekend Dec. 4-6.

Students who participated in the concerts include McKenzie Akeson, a sophomore from Chappell and a soprano two in the women’s chorale, and Carly Rushman, a sophomore from Gurley and an alto one in the women’s chorale.

The three events in the annual event included Christmas at Concordia concerts, a community open house and the Scholarship Parade of Homes. Groups that were in the various concerts included the University A Cappella Choir, Male Chorus, Women’s Chorale, University Symphonic Band, Concordia Handbell Choir and University Brass Ensemble.
