Court Brief 11-17-15

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, Nov. 16, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Victor Wooley, 35, of Sidney, appeared for a pre-trial conference on an amended charge of obstruction, which is a Class I misdemeanor. He received 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days.

Wyatt Coleman, 27, of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on charges of obstruction and resisting arrest, which are both Class I misdemeanors. A status hearing is set for Dec. 14.

David Pilger, 22, of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of possession of hash, which is a Class IV felony. A preliminary hearing is set for 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 30.

Jose Rios, 25, of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of attempted possession of methamphetamine, which is a Class IV felony. A hearing on the defendant’s motion to withdraw plea has been set for 9 a.m. on Nov. 30.

Nicholas Reinhart, 25, of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on a charge of DUI first offense. He received 45 days in jail.

Nicholas Reinhart, 25, of Sidney, appeared for a preliminary hearing on a charge of felony domestic assault, which is a Class IV felony. He waived the preliminary hearing. Arraignment is set for 9 a.m. on Dec. 8.

Kameron Walker, 26, of Sidney, appeared for a preliminary hearing on the charge of possession of a knife by a felon, which is a Class III felony. The court found that it appeared that the offense was committed and that there is probable cause to believe that the defendant committed it.

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Monday, Nov. 16, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Mark Lohman, 30, of Akron, Colo., appeared for a status hearing on a charge of theft, which is a Class IV felony. He received 366 days incarceration with 15 days credit.
