A Parkinson’s support group for the Western Nebraska area meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 312 W. 16th St., Alliance. Call Dee Brauninger at (308) 763-1254 with questions or email her at [email protected].
The Jr. Friends of the Library will be meting at the public library Tuesday, Nov. 3. This meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will emphasize what we can do as a group to help our community. Examples of activities accomplished, include bake sales, family game afternoons, children craft afternoons for the community and region. Monday, Nov. 9
A meeting for honeybee producers is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 9 at 5 p.m. to review the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program. It’ll be held at the North Platte Natural Resource District, 100547 Airport Road, Scottsbluff. The NAP sign-up deadline for 2016 honey is Dec. 1.

The Sidney Elks Lodge #1894 (located at 10th & Jackson) will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner on Sunday, Nov., 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event is for all Elks Members, D.O.E.S. and their families. Please bring a side dish and or dessert.
