The season ended on a sour note for the Creek Valley High School football team, losing 57-8 to Dundy County-Stratton on Friday night.
The Storm finished the season 0-8, while Dundy County improved to 4-4.
Creek Valley has now lost 40 consecutive games. Its last win came against Banner County on Oct. 22, 2010.
On Friday, Storm quarterback Pierce Leef completed 6 of 16 passes for 74 yards and one touchdown. Austin Rowley hauled in four catches for 51 yards and scored the lone TD.
