Creek Valley High School’s volleyball squad posted a pair of victories at home Thursday when it hosted a triangular against South Platte and Garden County.
The Storm downed South Platte 25-20, 25-20 and then dispatched Garden County 25-12, 25-16.
In the opener, Payje Misegadis recorded seven kills and 12 digs against South Platte (6-12) and teammate Andi Ortgies added four kills and four blocks.
Samantha Schmid dished out 13 assists for the Storm and teammates Joey Straber and Madison McFee had 15 and 12 digs respectively.
In the nightcap, Misegadis registered six kills and eight digs against Garden County (2-21). Schmid contributed 14 assists, Ortgies had three blocks and Straber chipped in nine digs.
Katie Burch had two blocks and two aces for the Storm and Chandra Smith recorded 11 digs and two aces.
Creek Valley (12-11) returns to the court on Tuesday when it hosts Potter-Dix (22-3).
