Creek Valley’s volleyball team split its two matches at the Bayard Triangular.
The Storm (10-11) lost to Mitchell 25-16, 25-8 and defeated Bayard 21-25, 26-24, 25-20. Mitchell also defeated Bayard to improve to 17-8. Bayard fell to 7-18.
In the loss to Mitchell, Payje Misegadis recorded seven kills, 14 digs and a block. Teammate Joey Straber had 11 digs and Samantha Schmid contributed nine assists.
Against Bayard, Misegadis had 13 kills and 16 digs and Straber had six kills and 18 digs.
Andi Ortgies provided five kills and three blocks for the Storm, Chandra Smith had 21 digs and Schmid added 17 digs and 20 assists.
Creek Valley next plays on Thursday when it hosts a triangular with Garden County (2-19) and South Platte (5-11).
