Winless Creek Valley falls to Hemingford, 66-0

Hemingford High School ripped off 41 points in the first quarter and cruised to a 66-0 victory on Friday night over winless Creek Valley.

Hemingford, which improved to 6-1, added three more touchdowns in the second quarter to open a 60-0 by halftime. Hemingford scored all 10 of its TDs on the ground in the contest.

Jonathan Mayer ran for four scores and Jameson Woods added a pair of TDs.

Creek Valley quarterback Pierce Leef was 4 for 15 passing for 35 yards and one interception. Noah Dickerson caught two of those passes to account for for 27 yards.

Leef also rushed for 19 yards on nine carries, while teammate Josh Schievelbein had seven carries for 16 yards.

Creek Valley (0-7) entertains Dundy County-Stratton (3-4) on Friday in its final game of the season.
