1994 to 2015

Jozenn Walters, 21 of Fort Collins, passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Fort Collins, Sunday evening.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 17 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 486 Toledo Street in Sidney. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Friday from 1 to 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jozenn's name to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Temple Fund in care of Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, POB 151, Sidney, NE 69162.

Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of Jozenn's care and funeral arrangements.

Jozenn, a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, and friend was born on August 8, 1994 in Kimball. She attended school in Martensdale, IA and Ordway, Colo., graduating from Crowley County High School. While there she participated in FFA, sports, Honor Society and FBLA. This past May she graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

Jozenn, an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints wholeheartedly served all those around her. She loved life, her family and many friends.

She is survived by her father David LeRoy Walters, mother JoAnne Makris and husband George; siblings Sariah, Santha, Lehi, Dieter (Alisha), Tegan (Joshua), Torben (Raina), Brigham (Barbara), Brogan (Jessica), JaKota (Chyenne); nephews Derek, Tenneson, Chet, Brigham; nieces Auriella, Mila, Lilyana, Kayzlie, and Lo; grandfathers Virgil Walters and Bill Kiemele and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by grandmothers Joyce Walters and Edra Kiemele.
