The Sidney High School girls’ cross country team won the Western Conference title on Monday, placing four runners in the top 10.
Meanwhile, the boys’ team captured third place and had three runners snare top-10 spots.
For the Lady Raiders, Erin Lindeman led the way with a fourth-place finish. Three teammates finished close behind in sixth, seventh and eighth. They were Chantal Riggs, Jami Flores and Preslie Allen, respectively.
Charlie Brockhaus rounded out Sidney’s winning effort with a 15-place finish.
