Theodore D. Medina, age 25 of Sidney, was sentenced Monday to serve the maximum possible term on two counts.
On Sept. 8, Medina admitted to violating probation in two cases, according to Cheyenne County attorney Paul Schaub. Medina was found guilty of attempted assault in the 2nd degree, a class IV felony, and third-degree assault, a class I misdemeanor. Both verdicts were reached in 2013.
He was sentenced Monday to serve 20 to 60 months in prison for attempted assault charge and 12 months in prison for the assault count. The sentences were ordered to run consecutively....
