Levi Hallett, 27, formerly of Sidney, was sentenced last week in the U.S. District Court-District of Nebraska.
He was sentenced to the Bureau of Prisons for a term of 27 years of imprisonment, followed by 15 years of supervised release with special conditions.
Last September, Hallett was charged in a three-count indictment by a federal grand jury. The charges included production, possession and receipt and distribution of child pornography. In May, Hallett's case was transferred to federal court.

Wow. Didn't know they gave these guys that kind of time. I hope our civil servants in town and county get a slice of justice, too.
