The young Creek Valley Storm (0-1) struggled all night against a powerful Sedgwick County (Colo.) team as it fell 94-8 in Chappell.
With only two seniors and four juniors on its roster, the Storm was overmatched by the experience and size of the Cougars. Sophomore Noah Dickinson scored the only touchdown for the Storm in the third quarter. Freshman Garrett Sawyer ran in the two-point conversion.
Junior Gage Koenen led the team on defense as he had nine tackles while sophomore Michael Smith added seven.
