The Bridge Marathon will begin playing again in September. Each pair plays once a month with different opponent and keeps a cumulative score through May. Pairs-N-Half-A-Pair Square Dance Club will have an Indoor Picnic Dance at the IOOF Hall from 7 to 9 p.m. with Lucky calling. Indoor meal starting at 6 p.m. Sloppy joes, hotdogs, and baked beans will be provided. Dancers, please bring salads or desserts or side dishes.

The Sidney Public Library will again be offering Toddler Tales and Storytime beginning in September. Toddler Tales will begin Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10:15 a.m. for children ages 2 and 3. Storytime for children ages 4 and 5 will begin Thursday, Sept. 10 also at 10:15 a.m. Both sessions feature story, finger plays and giggles! Girl Scout Family Fun Run will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 at the Legion Park Shelter House. Registration is available for individuals or families - there will be a registration fee. The runs include a 5K Run and a 2K Family Obstacle Run. The first 200 registrants get a free Fun Run event water bottle. All emergency response personnel are invited to attend Air Link’s free education day from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 at the Harms Advanced Technology Center in Scottsbluff. The day will include hands-on skill stations and a presentation by the Nebraska State Patrol on crash dynamics, distracted driving and EMS on-scene safety. There is continuous free entertainment in the tent at the Cheyenne Fairgrounds, a beer garden, ethnic food, craft show, downtown parade, farmer’s market, live dance bands Friday and Saturday, a car show and wiener dog races.
