IHG to launch Holiday Inn Express in Sidney

82-room hotel to welcome guests beginning in May

InterContinental Hotels Group has signed a management agreement with Sidney Hospitality to build an 82-room, four-story Holiday Inn Express in Sidney.

The hotel will mark the entry of the new prototype Holiday Inn Express that was rolled out a year ago and is one of the first to be built. It will open in May 2016.

“We are excited to break ground on this project and look forward to bringing a new lodging option to Sidney,” said Clarence Gealy of the hotel chain. “The Holiday Inn Express is designed to accommodate both business and leisure travelers. With amenities like complimentary hot breakfast with pancake bar, cinnamon rolls, complimentary Wi-Fi and clean and fresh beds, the Sidney Holiday Inn Express will provide all the services and value-added amenities desired by those traveling to the Sidney area.”

There are nearly 2,400 Holiday Inn Express hotels across the globe, and more than 550 hotels in the development pipeline.
