Construction continues on the Pole Creek Crossing and the Fort Sidney Road bridge in Sidney Wednesday morning. Girders for the Pole Creek Crossing bridge were set and the next step is working on the deck. According to Project Engineer Don Dye, fiber optic lines and utility lines prevented progress on the Fort Sidney Road Bridge until they were relocated. The Fort Sidney Road Bridge was initially projected to be completed in October, but construction is about a month and a half behind schedule.
