The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, Aug. 11, 2015, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Brittanie Yack, age 29 of Lodgepole, appeared a pre-trial conference on a charge of DUI 1st high test, a class W misdemeanor. The pre-trial conference was continued until Aug. 24.

Kevin Maes, age 22 of Potter, appeared for sentencing on charges of 3rd degree assault: Fight by mutual consent and theft, both class II misdemeanors. He received 18 months intensive supervised probation.

Brian Kranz, age 26 of Encinitas, Calif., appeared for presentment on a charge of possession of hash, a class IV felony. A status hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 18 at 2:30 p.m.

Christopher Petri, age 26 of Chappell, appeared for a preliminary hearing on a charge of theft, a class IV felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to an amended charge of theft, class I misdemeanor. Sentencing was set for Oct. 26.

Jeffrey Dunn, Sr, age 45 of Lincoln, appeared by phone for a pre-trial conference on a charge of refusal to submit to a chemical test, DUI and obstructing, a class W, W and I misdemeanor respectively. Jury trial was set for Sept. 29.

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Aug. 11, 2015, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Ronald Hopkins, age 43 of Sterling, Colo., appeared for sentencing on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, a class IV felony. He received 90 days in jail.

Mylissa Pennington, age 19 of Sidney, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of manufacturing mushrooms, manufacturing marijuana, possession of mushrooms with intent and possession of mushrooms with intent, all class III felonies. A jury trial was set for Nov. 12 and 13. A pre-trial conference was set for Nov. 4.

James Daily, age 35 of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on a charge of attempted possession of methamphetamine, a class I misdemeanor. He received two years probation with waivable jail time.

Jacquelyn Lane, age 33 of Potter, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of DUI 4th high test, a class III felony. A pre-trial conference was continued to Sept. 8 at 9:30 a.m.

Chance Harmon, age 20 of Sidney, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of distribution of marijuana, a class III felony. A status hearing has been continued to Sept. 8 at 9:30 a.m.
