Bridge work is scheduled to begin on L-17B – known as the Potter Link – on Aug. 17, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Work includes bridge deck and approach repair, installation of a waterproof membrane and asphalt overlay, reconstruction of bridge rail and installation of new guardrail.
Traffic will be maintained with the use of a lane closure and a temporary traffic signal to direct traffic through the reduced 12-foot-wide lane. The anticipated completion date is mid-October.
