The American Plains Artists has accepted artwork by J.I. McElroy of Gurley for inclusion in its 30th Annual Juried “Art of the Plains” exhibit and sale in Lincoln.
The event will be held at the Great Plains Art Museum, 1155 Q St., Lincoln, from Aug. 7 through Oct. 24.
Approximately 120 pieces of art from more than 80 artists from across the nation were accepted into this show. McElroy’s selected artwork is a 24-inch by 12-inch acrylic painting titled “Crane Sunrise.”.
