Sidney resident and long-time Sidney High School English teacher Dorothy Holloway celebrated her 101st birthday with family and friends Monday afternoon.
Although Holloway is originally from Wyoming, she has made a lasting mark in Sidney and in the Sidney Public Schools, where she taught for 30 years.
She also became an everlasting part of Sidney High when a drawing of her horse was selected for the school's new Red Raider logo in 1967.
