The Fort Sidney Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, in partnership with the United States Of America Vietnam War Commemoration, recently mailed 76 commemoration packets to Cheyenne County Vietnam War veterans.
The packets included a DAR certificate recognizing the valor, service and sacrifice of that individual veteran, a copy of the Presidential Proclamation commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War and three government-issue commemorative pins.
The mailing list was provided by the Cheyenne Count Veteran’s Service Office.
