The monthly meeting of the Panhandle Quilt Guild will be held Saturday, June 20th at 9:30 a.m. at West Way Christian Church, 1701 West 27th St., Scottsbluff. Coffee is at 9:00 a.m. There will be an installation of officers and a salad luncheon, followed by open sewing for the silent auction taking place at the Quilt Show during OT days.
June 19 and June 20
The Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory will be hosting a Bioblitz at Oliver Reservoir Recreation Area beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 19 and ending 3 p.m. on June 20. It’s a 24-hour celebration of Western Nebraska wildlife! Learn from area naturalists and scientists as they share their knowledge of local wildlife and the processes used to study nature. Camping is welcome for all, or stay for the sessions of your choice.

June 20 and 21
The Annual Father’s Day Classic 3-man Scramble will be held June 20-21 at the Four Winds Golf Course. No handicap is needed. There is an entry fee that includes two rounds of golf and an evening meal on Saturday. Call the pro shop at (308) 235-4241 for more information.

The Potter Car Bowl will be held Saturday, June 27 with activities for the entire family. Events include a car show, duckpin bowling tournament, bull riding competition, golf tournament and a melodrama and dinner. For more information, call (308) 879-4451.
July 2-5
A 4th of July celebration will be held in Oshkosh from Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, July 5. There will be a beer garden and live music.
