Boys Town opens Scottsbluff satellite fundraising office

Boys Town has opened a satellite fundraising office in Scottsbluff, and Stan Kontogiannis has been hired by the group to serve as midwest regional major gifts officer.

Kontogiannis’ territory includes Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio and portions of Nevada. The new office is located at 1906 Broadway within the law office of Michael W. Meister, whose firm is donating the office and meeting space.

“We are happy that we are able to help fulfill Boys Town mission in Western Nebraska, Eastern Wyoming and throughout the Midwest Region,” Mike Meister said. “The work Boys Town does to help families and children in crises is invaluable to our local communities.”

“Boys Town has been serving needs of individuals and families in Western Nebraska, Eastern Wyoming and across the country for many years and I hope individuals, businesses and communities will see the value of our work and will support our organization to save children and families,” Kontogiannis said.

Founded in 1917 by Father Flannigan in Omaha, Boys Town is a national leader in providing support to at-risk children and families.
