The second annual Leyton Warrior Challenge will be held Saturday, June 6 beginning at 8 a.m. at Leyton High School in Dalton. Proceeds will be used for the resurfacing of the Leyton Elemenatry/Junior High playground. There will be an adult full obstacle course as well as a kids’ course. June 9-13
The Nebraska Chautauqua will present a series featuring six famous characters from United States history from June 9-13. The theme for this year’s Chautauqua, first person portrayals of historical figures, will explore the vast influences of the 1862 legislation. The Annual Father’s Day Classic 3-man Scramble will be held June 20-21 at the Four Winds Golf Course. No handicap is needed. There is an entry fee that includes two rounds of golf and an evening meal on Saturday. Call the pro shop at (308) 235-4241 for more information.

A 4th of July celebration will be held in Oshkosh from Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, July 5. There will be a beer garden and live music.
