Ash Hollow event set for June 12-13
The 23rd Annual Ash Hollow Historical Pageant will be held Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13 at Ash Hollow State Historical Park, near Lewellen on Highway 26.
There will be a chuck wagon supper beginning at 5 p.m. and the performance begins at 6:30 p.m., on both evenings.
The adventures and hardships of the Oregon Trail are portrayed by a regional cast and live band depicting the daily experiences across the plains, crossing the mountains and fording rivers. Bring a lawn chair and blankets for an outdoor musical consisting of old time songs and original diary quotes from Oregon Trail diaries.
