CRETE, Neb. – Sidney’s Ashley Morgan Heidemann received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Doane College during spring 2015 graduation ceremonies.
Doane College awarded 219 degrees to undergraduates at its School of Arts & Sciences in a commencement ceremony at the George and Sally Haddix Athletic and Recreation Center in Crete.
Dr. Kate Marley, Doane’s associate vice president for academic affairs, was the keynote speaker. Marley, who is currently responsible for guiding the college’s general education program, faculty development and assessment of student learning, began as a biology professor at Doane in 2001.
Doane is the oldest private liberal arts and sciences college in Nebraska and has campuses in Crete, Grand Island, Lincoln and Omaha.
