Saying 'thank you'

Nearly 60 people attended the going away party held at the Hillside Bar & Grill for James and Megan McGown on Tuesday evening. Megan is the Economic Development Director for the City of Sidney. James is the principal at Leyton High School. He is leaving to become the new superintendent in Brady, Neb.

City Manager Gary Person presented a plaque to Megan that commemorates her 10 years of service for the City of Sidney and Cheyenne County. The plaque reads: “Thank you for your Outstanding Commitment and Dedication to the Growth, Development, and Prosperity of Sidney and Cheyenne County 2005-2015, On behalf of the City of Sidney, Cheyenne County, and Economic Development Partnership.”
