Creek Valley Storm golfer Brett Godfrey carded an 86 – his best score of the season – at the Oregon Trail Golf Course in Sutherland to qualify for the state tournament as an individual.
The team struggled to a ninth-place finish at the Class D-5 District tournament on Monday.
Perkins County won the district team title with a 359, while Crawford (377) and Sandhills/Thetford (385) rounded out the three teams that qualified for state. The Storm finished with 418 strokes.
