Bowker, Johnson named scholarship winners

Two local high school students have been selected as winners of the Cheyenne County Lawyers’ Association scholarships. Each award is for $500.

MacKenzie Bowker, a senior at Sidney High School, and Jake Johnson, a senior at Potter-Dix High School were named the recipeints.

Sidney High’s Savanna Rosenbaum and Jachob Wiedeburg were chosen as runners-up for the awards.

Recipients must be enrolled in an accredited university by Aug. 31 to receive the scholarship funds. In the event the scholarship winners are not enrolled in an accredited university by that date, a runner-up will be awarded the scholarship.
